My Current Favourite 3 Lip Balms

Helloo Everyone!
Recently I have been loving my lip balms so I thought I'd share some of my favourite ones with you all!

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, Rosy Lips Vaseline, Nivea Hydro Care

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm - £3.69
I am a huge fan of Burt's bees - I love all of their lip balms that I own. Because this is a wax, at first I did not like it at all because I couldn't get any of it out of the tin, but you just have to rub in the wax for a few seconds to heat it up. I often apply this at night and wake up with soft and conditioned lips which I love. Or I'll apply it in the morning with a clear vaseline over the top and I find this protects my lips really well for the day.

Rosy Lips Vaseline - £1.99
So most people will own vaseline - I have a love/hate relationship with it..However most of the time I do love it! I find I shouldn't apply this very regularly because my lips get addicted to it and I find I always have to put it on. So I'll just apply this once during the day, usually in the morning as I find it is a good barrier for my lips if I only apply it once and also I love the colour this one leaves on your lips, a nice tinted pink with a glossy effect.

Nivea Hydro Care - £1.99
I find this lip balm to be the most hydrating and moisturising so this would be my go to lip balm throughout the day rather than in the morning or evening I'll just apply it during the daytime when I need it and I find it hydrates my chapped lips really well; it has a very balmy texture unlike my beeswax so that's why I like it to quickly put on during the day.

What are your favourite lip balms?

Bourjois 3D Effect Cosmic Lipglosses

Hellooo!
Happy Thursday.. It's nearly the weekend! YAY!
I have been an owner of these bourjois lip glosses for quite a while, they have been available to buy for ages, and I do like them a lot, so I thought I'd do a little review..

Boujois '3D Effet Cosmic lip glosses' - £7.69 eachI have two of the glosses, both which I think are very wearable, but there is a very big colour range of these glosses which you can get hold of. I have the colours 'Rose symphonic' (the lighter shade) and 'Framboise magnific' (the darker shade).
Rose symphonic
I think this is the perfect spring/summer shade, its a cute very shimmery pastel pink, I find this very wearable with a natural smoky eye in the summer and it is so easy to put on.

Framboise magnific
This shade is more wintery however it is very wearable too, a dark shimmery pink, very pretty on the lip with the shimmer.

Framboise magnific, Rose symphonic

The glosses themselves are very pigmented and personally I love the shimmer on the lips, it comes out really well and I think it's so pretty! The shimmer in the darker one is really pretty as I think it makes it more wearable and not too intense, the lighter one is very natural and just a very pretty light shimmer which I think can look so nice with so many different eye make-up looks. They are quite pricey for what they are; but often you can get them 3 for 2 in boots so its worth looking out for that if your going to purchase these. However I do find the staying power isn't great, but the glosses are quite moisturising  and they have quite a hydrating formula but once you've had them on a while the colour does tend to fade. The gloss leaves a really nice shine on the lips and it isn't too sticky, and I do like the brushes on these as I find them easy to apply the right amount.

Have you ever tried these lip glosses?
What did you think of them?

MUA Undressed Palette Vs Urban Decay Naked Palette

Hello Everyone!
So recently I bought the MUA Undressed palette because I had heard good things about it so I wanted to try it out for myself.. And I thought I'd share my views and compare it to my Urban Decay Naked palette which I have defiantly heard lots of good things about it..

Urban Decay Naked palette - £36.00
Mua Undressed palette - £4.00

So, first of all there is a HUGE difference in price.. the MUA being very very cheap and the Urban Decay very pricey. The palettes both have 12 very similar shades ranging from nude shimmers to shimmery black..

The colours are very very similar, and both palettes coming with a brush, however personally I don't like to use the foamy brushes, so with the Naked palette you are paying for a good brush as well. In the MUA the shadows themselves are very pigmented, close to the urban decay ones, and I think that's amazing for the price. However I don't use a primer because I don't need to, but I would stay the colour lasts all over the lid with the Urban Decay shadows more than the MUA. You can create so many different looks with both of these; really smoky or just nudes swept all over the lid. The urban decay shadows do have an amazing effect when blended, more so than the MUA however the MUA shadows do blend very well and I think the colour scheme is very good.

The Urban Decay shadows are very pigmented and I would say are better quality because they do last longer, where as the MUA shadows I wouldn't rely on to stay put all night if your going for a heavy make-up look, but they do stay quite well considering the price.

Overall, I would say the MUA palette is defiantly a VERY good dupe for the Naked palette, so if your looking for something cheaper, I would definitely give this a try because I seriously think the MUA palette is a very very good price and the quality is very good.

Have any of you tried either of these palettes?
What did you think?

Spring/Summer Nail Polishes

So spring has just come around, and the weather has been pretty goood (for England) so I thought I'd share some of my favourite nail polishes I like to wear around this time of year!..

Mavala mini, Rimmel 60 seconds, Nail paint by Barry M, Nails by topshop, 17 Lasting fix, Mavala mini

Topshop nails in 'Milkshake' & 'Parma Violet' - £5.00 each
I  picked up these two really cute colours for £7.00 for the two in the topshop and they are the perfect spring/summer colours, they come out really bright, have good staying power and are good value!

Nail Paint by Barry M in 'np279' - £2.99
Barry M nail polishes are always reliable - really cheap, easy and have great staying power, I love this cute summery colour and am a really big fan of Barry M nail polish!
Mavala minis in '168 South Beach Pink' & '215 Pink Diamond' -£4.50 eachThese are quite small so I are a bit more expensive considering the size however I love the packaging, the colours are really bright and cute, I often put the glitter over the top of the pink which I think looks really nice, and they have great staying power so worth the money.
Rimmel 60 seconds in '825 Sky High'- £3.69These are great if you are impatient with nails drying like me - the colour is really cute, the staying power is pretty good and I think the brush is really easy to apply.
17 Lasting Fix nail polish (sorry I don't know what colour this is) oops..
This bright orange is really cool colour, a really easy brush to apply and the staying power is quite good, so I really like this.

17 Nail Xtras glitter top coat - £2.99
I really like this subtle glitter for a top coat as I think it's really cute on top of pastely colours and not too obvious and it's really easy to apply - really cute!

What are your favourite nail polishes for this time of year?

My Skincare Routine

My Skincare Routine..
Before I start with the products that I use, I think the best thing for your skin is keeping it hydrated with drinking lots and lots of water and the second thing is sleep, especially when you are growing it's so important to get enough sleep, most people tend to breakout more when they are tired.

Clinique 7 day scrub cream, Liz Earle cleanse & polish, Liz Earle instant boost skin tonic, Liz Earle deep cleansing mask, Garnier simply essentials eye make-up remover.

Garnier simply essentials soothing eye make-up remover - £2.99
First of all I will try and remove most of my eye make-up with a cotton pad and this does the job well, it's also not oily which I really like.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - £14.75
Next I will just massage 1 or two pumps of this cleanser into my face and rinse it off with hot water and a muslin cloth. I know this cleanser is quite pricey, but it is worth the money because it removes makeup, helps with blemishes and leaves the skin moisturised and fresh. I'll use this about 5 times a week, three times with the other products It also smells really good!
Clinique 7 day scrub cream - £17.50
Next I will exfoliate any blemishes I have, mainly around the nose with an exfoliating glove, I find this really helps get rid of spots however it is quite harsh on the skin so I wouldn't use it all over the face. I only use this once a week after cleansing.
Liz Earle instant boost skin tonic spritzer - £13.25
You can get this in bottle form but I thought it would be easier just to get a spritzer, and I just spray some on a cotton pad and sweep it all over my face, it smells amazing, really hydrates and brightens the skin. I love it! I think its defiantly worth investing in, and it lasts a long time.
Liz Earle skin repair moisturiser - £19.25
I think this moisturiser is a bit over priced, even though it works really well I think it should be more around the £15 mark. However it does really hydrate the skin and its great for winter when my skin is especially dry.
Liz Earle Deep cleansing mask - £14.50
Finally, about once every 2 weeks, depending on how my skin is I'll apply this mask which hydrates and gets rid of my blemishes on the main, I think it's a really good mask and does my skin so much good!

I know I'm a bit of a Liz Earle addict, but the skincare is really good quality and it's not really really expensive! I really would recommend it if you are willing to invest in some good skincare, because it does last a long time and it's really good quality.

I thought I'd put a picture of my dog in because when I was taking photos he decided to pose for the camera as well! ;)

What's your skincare routine?
Have you ever tried any of the liz earle products? If so let me know in the comments, I will always reply!

Lush & Beauty Haul

So I went shopping..
These are some of the things that I bought..
Lush bag, Maybelline 'The Falsies', Maybelline 'Color Sensational cream gloss', Stila shadow pot,  Maybelline color tattoo, Jemma Kidd 'Ultimate Lipstick Duo', Jemma Kidd lipgloss,  Jemma Kidd 'i-design eye colour',  Jemma Kidd 'glitterati shadow dust duo', Elite Models brushes, Physicians Formula multi colored pressed powder.
Maybelline 'The Falsies' in Black Drama - £7.99, Maybelline 'Color Sensational cream gloss' in 415 Coral Blush - £6.19, Maybelline color tattoo in 65 Pink Gold - £4.99.
So I went into superdrug to pick up the falsies because I have heard SO many people raving about this (most of all Tanya Burr) who I very much trust, and all Maybelline products were on 3 for 2 so I picked up the color tattoo and lip gloss, I haven't used these products much yet, but so far I'm really impressed, the color tattoo is a beautiful colour and glides on easily, the gloss is also very pretty with gold shimmer and stays on the lips, and I love the mascara.

Stila shadow pot in the colour moon 03 - RRP £11.85
I went into TKMaxx (if your reading from abroad the UK this is a shop which has lots of different brands with reduced prices) and I was really excited to see all the different make-up they had! I first picked up this shadow pot, which is a really nice shimmery creamy colour, I haven't tried it yet, so I will let you know how I get on, however I don't think I would purchase this at it's full price, because there isn't much in the pot, and I bought this for £4.99.

Physicians Formula Multi-Colored Pressed Powder in Peach Nude -  RRP £8.49
The second thing I bought in TKMaxx is this powder from Physicians Formula, I have never seen this before, but I thought it looked really nice and I tried some out on my hand and it brightened my skin, so I thought I would give it a try, this was also really cheap - £4.99 again.
Jemma Kidd 'Shadow Dust Duo' in 01 premiere - RRP £11.00, Jemma Kidd 'i-design eye colour' in 12 luxe - RRP £8.00, Jemma Kidd 'Hi-Shine Silk Touch lipgloss' in 07 blossom - RRP £14.00, Jemma Kidd 'Ultimate Lipstick Duo' in 11 rita -RRP £10.40.
At this point I was really excited to see these things and I was looking through and ended up with these products from Jemma Kidd. Again, I haven't really tried any of these properly, but the shadow dust really excited me; at one end it is a cream shadow and the other a glitter rollerball in a bronzey colour, I picked this along with the lipstick for £4.99 - such a bargain. I have never tried the eyeshadows from Jemma Kidd so I picked up this bronze one as well, this with the gloss was also £4.99. And I already own a lipgloss quite a bit darker, so I got this one in a pretty pinky colour. I have never seen the lipstick duos; one end a balm (which smells SO good of cocoa - I love chocolate!!) and the other a nudey pinky colour. If your ever in TKMaxx be sure to check out the make-up - because I got some really good bargains!!

Elite models brush set (powder/blush, foundation/concealer and eyeshadow/smudge) - £5.99
So the last thing I got in TKMaxx were these brushes (sorry for the bad photo - woops) I'm not sure how much these usually are, I think they are quite hard to pick up in the UK but it's worth having a look online. I thought these brushes would be really handy as they are duos, and also I really liked the colours! Am excited to try these!

So I also went into LUSH.. because well I love all their bath things and I love baths :) and the people are always so friendly in their so thumbs up for that. I picked up a few bath things..
'Amandopondo' bubble bar slice - £2.75
I love the Lush bubble bars - this one smells SO good (most of them do) its not too sweet or fruity and you just crumble it under running water and you have lots of bubbles - Yay!

'Tisty Tosty' Bath Ballistic -£3.20
So this is a bath bomb with rose buds in, its really cute how its heart shaped, it is the same scent as the melt and I love it! I'm obsessed with these!!

'Dragon's Egg' bath ballistic - £3.20
I haven't tried this bath bomb before, but its massive!! And I also really liked the scent of this one - fresh and quite citrusy (if that's even a word..?!) It claims to do lots of wonderful things to my bath, I'm excited to use it!!
Well that was a long post.. What have you bought recently?
Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments!

March Favourites

March Favourites 2013 <3

I thought I'd share the products I've been loving throughout March..
Liz Earle deep cleansing mask, 17 Endless Shine lipgloss, Burts Bees tinted lip balm in 'Hisbicus', Soap & Glory's Hand Food, Benefit 'Hello Flawless", Moroccan hair oil, Britney Spears 'Circus Fantasy' perfume, Urban Decay 'NAKED' palette, Malteaser malteaster bunny, cloth from Emma Bridgewater.

Benefit 'Hello Flawless' in the colour ivory. - £22.50
I recently bought this face powder from Benefit, it is defiantly quite pricey for a powder, but I'm really enjoying using it, it comes with a small brush and a sponge so you can apply it with either depending on what type of finish you want (sponge more for spot cover up) I tend to prefer using a brush, because it has a more sheer finish. I think it looks natural on the skin, and it doesn't seem to affect my dry skin much either, it also has SPF 15 - not that we need that at the moment!!

Soap & Glory's Hand food - 50ml £2.50
Although winter has finished now, this stuff was my best friend for dry hands! I am a huuuge soap and glory fan, and this has always been my go to hand cream; it hydrates leaving hands super soft and it smells amazing!

Britney Spears Circus Fantasy perfume - £36.50

I am a big fan of the fantasy range, I really like all the scents. I bought the circus a while ago when it was on offer in superdrug.. I think it was around £25 at the time, so you can pick it up cheaper than £36.50. It has a really quite sweet scent (quite fruity) so if you aren't a fan of that I wouldn't recommend it, but personally I really like it!
17 Endless shine lip gloss

I was given this as a present by a friend, so I'm not sure how much it is, you can pick it up in boots, i have looked on the website but I couldn't seem to find it, but I can't imagine it would be too expensive. I've been loving this lately, I'm a big fan of glitter and shimmer and the colour is really pretty, its really easy to apply and it isn't sticky and feels really nice on the lips.
Liz Earle deep cleansing mask - £14.50
This mask is for combination/oily skin, I don't have oily skin but I was recommended to get it by someone on the Liz Earle counter, I am a huge fan of the cleanse and polish, I will do a separate review on this at some point. I have been loving this mask, it has a runny consistency but it is still easy to apply, and it comes with two sponges, I think it is a good price as it is lasting me ages, it sorts out blemishes well and evens out the skin, leaving it super soft and clear.
Moroccan hair oil - £30.45
First of all, I know this is really pricey for a hair oil, but its seriously amazing! It smells SO good, and makes your hair feel super soft and light, and you hardly need any, it lasts for ages! I wouldn't recommend this for oily hair, because it probably wouldn't do much good, but if you have dry hair, try it! I think you can pick it up cheaper on sites like feelunique or ebay, its worth having a search before spending that amount if your on a small budget.
Burt's Bees tinted lipbalm in the colour 'Hisbicus' - £5.99
Again, I'm a big fan of Burt's Bees, I have quite a few of their products,  I recently picked up this and another in a pack of two in the sale for about £8 or £9, which I thought was good for two! I have been really liking using this, its very hydrating and leaves a nice colour on the lips and also tastes good so you can't go wrong.

Urban Decay 'NAKED' palette - £36
So I know I've kind of missed my time to rave about this.. but its literally AMAZING I can't even explain it!!! It's just wow!!! You can create so many different looks with it - great for smoky eyes! Its great for travel and I love all the shadows, all really pigmented and there's two matte shadows as well as all the lovely shimmer, the range of neutrals is amazing, and I will be getting my hands on the NAKED 2 soon!!

Malteaser malteaster bunny - 2 for £1 (I think..?)
I know this isn't beauty related but I thought I'd put it in because I have been obsessed with these things!! They are soo good!! I don't even like malteasers that much but these are amazing!! I am such a chocoholic and I'd recommend these to any chocolate lover!! YUM!

What have you been loving in March? I'd love to know - please leave a comment!
Thank-You for reading!
