My Haircare Routine

Helllooo! :)
Today I thought I'd do a post about my hair routine; what products I use and how I look after my hair. I've been really enjoying using these products lately so I thought I'd share them.

Tresemme Root Boosting spray, Wella Enrich shampoo & conditoner, Moroccan hair oil.
I'm enjoying keeping my hair routine nice and simple at the moment. When it starts to get warmer I might invest in a hair lightening spray as I always like my hair a bit blonder in the summer. But for now I find the shampoo & conditioner are really nourishing and repairing for my hair and as you've probably already read I love moroccan oil.

This shampoo and conditioner are pretty pricey - I got them from my hairdresser but they do last a long time, and I think it's worth investing a good shampoo and conditioner that will last you a long time, because a little goes a long way with these! They smell so good, the shampoo I find really cleanses my hair and the conditioner which I'll leave on for around 3 minutes before washing out leaves my hair silky and feeling nourished.

I used to have the whole tresemme 24 hour body collection, I recently finished the shampoo and conditioner but I still like using this. After I have towel dried my hair I just spritz some of this all over my roots. I feel that it just gives my hair a bit more volume and makes my hair feel lighter. I would definitely recommend it if you have flat hair like me!

I LOVE this stuff! It's seriously amazing. When I have combed through this I'll pump about two pumps into my fingers and run it through my hair.. It makes my hair smell AMAZING and also give it a lift and makes my hair a lot more silky and easily brushable. It's quite expensive, but it really does last ages and I think it is worth it!

What products do you use in your hair?
Have you tried any of these?

Thank-You for reading!

My Mac Palette

Hey Everyone!
A slightly different kind of post today.. Recently I have been loving using my custom mac palette which I was kindly given as a present. I thought I'd share my opinion on it, whether it is worth the money and the idea in general.

The colours I chose were:
Woodwinked (top left)
Naked Lunch (top right)
Satin Taupe (bottom left)
All That Glitters (bottom right)

I think all the shades I chose are very wearable colours, and also look nice combined.. I love using naked lunch all over the lid and satin taupe blended in the outer corner and crease. I think both naked lunch and all that glitters are very wearable as a pretty colour or look nice blended in with a darker colour. I like to wear woodwinked just on its own blended all over the lid, its very easy and a wearable colour especially in summer it can look nice with a blue eyeliner.

The palette altogether I think was £37.00 - this is very pricey for eyeshadows but I do think the quality is very good and you are also paying for the palette itself; personally I think the custom palette is a really good idea and you can choose to have a bigger sized palette and build on it which I would like to do later on but at the moment this little quad is perfect for me and I love the shades in it - its also good for travelling because it isn't too good and the colours in it are very wearable.

If you are an eyeshadow lover and you are willing to splurge on a treat on this or you have a birthday coming up  - this idea is great I think; you can do it with just two eyeshadows as well if thats more appealing! Although it is very pricey, I do think in most respects it's worth it - you choose your own eyeshadows and they are guaranteed to be great!

Do you own a custom mac palette?
Have you tried any of these eyeshadows?
Let me know! :)

My Everyday Makeup

Hello Everyone!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I have been quite busy and just haven't seemed to have the time. But happy Sunday! I hope you enjoy reading about the products I'm currently using!

I thought I'd do a post on my everyday makeup at the moment. I always switch around the products once I get bored but at the moment I'm really enjoying wearing what I'm wearing everyday. I don't wear loads and loads everyday simply because I have to get ready quickly in the morning and also I don't feel that I need to go crazy on makeup for everyday, just a nice, simple pretty look.

Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in 'hibiscus'
Maybelline Color Sensational cream gloss in '415 Coral Blush'
Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer in 'Ivory'
Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara
Mac Power Kohl eye pencil in 'Feline'
Mac personalised eyeshadow quad
Rimmel eyebrow pencil in 'Hazel'
Elite Models dual eyeshadow brush
Body Shop eyeshadow smudge brush

For my eyes I'll use 'Naked Lunch' and 'Satin Taupe' from my mac eyeshadow quad, and I'll blend them in using my body shop brush. I'll brush through my eyebrows using my eyebrow and eyelash comb/brush duo from Superdrug. I will fill in my brows using my rimmel pencil, and then apply my mac eyeliner along my top lash line and then apply my mascara to my top lashes. I'm really enjoying keeping my waterline and lower lash line free at the moment as I think it looks more natural and fresh.

On my skin I don't really bother using a foundation everyday because I don't really need to and don't have time, when I'm going out I will make more of an effort but on an everyday basis I just go under my eyes with my wake me up concealer, and apply a bit of my blush from dandelion which is a nice natural and pretty colour for everyday.

Finally, on my lips I'll use this burts bees tinted lip balm which keeps my lips hydrated and adds colour - I find it perfect for everyday! And if I want to, I'll add some gloss over the top!

I hope you enjoyed reading about the products I'm using on a day to day basis, I'd love to know what your using and if you have tried any of these products - let me know!
I will do a more detailed review of some of these products as well soon!

Thank-You for reading!
